Comic Relief Australia

Comic Relief Australia is an independent philanthropic trust committed to helping children and families in desperate need in Australia and overseas. In 2005 it launched its first fundraising campaign including a televised show. Comic Relief Australia required a complete web presence to be developed in an extremely short timeframe.

Using a custom built Content Management System, AgentC Media was able to deliver a complete website including an online donation facility within 3 weeks. During the televised show, the website processed over $60,000 of dollars within three hours.

• Page Manager - An unlimited number of pages could be easily added to the site using a simple Microsoft Word like interface.
• Online Donations - Online donations were taken via integrated ANZ eGate payment Gateway. The system also generated tax deductible invoices.
• Comic Name Generator - To help promote the site, users could send their friends an email with a fun comic name generated for them.
